I graduated as a Physiotherapist from Coventry University in 2004. I completed my junior rotations at University Hospitals Leicester and during this time I developed an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in particular the management of hand and wrist injuries. I have continued to treat all musculoskeletal injuries but specialised in the management of complex hand and wrist injuries following trauma. I have had the opportunity to work with numerous excellent hand therapists and consultants in a variety of settings in the public and private sector. For the last few years I have worked at a senior level as a clinician and team leader in a hand therapy and a general musculoskeletal setting. I am forward thinking and enjoy being involved in research and helping to develop a service to ensure we are delivering the most cutting edge and current treatment approaches for our patients. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, running and yoga and I have recently started my 200 hour yoga teaching training.
